i want to taunt posterity haunt all their fantasies i want their pedigree rent i want to taint their history ruin identity want them to know how we posed for the end oh the humanity wonders cease wanderers seize silent our sanctuary we ground to a halt we found our niche here in our statuary monuments far as the dead eye can see i want to echo misery end possibility see that it dies on the vine i want to melt our dignity down to ignominy fucking ourselves just to fuck the divine there is no tomb or grave for me no urn no crematory carrion cradle or scavenging no wake where they will wait for me we die as family into the silence save for god's laughing we wonder where we'll be when our joints start to seize when all the pearls we clutch fly from our grips and flee somewhere idyllic please elsewhere in greenery nowhere is left untouched everywhere endlessly from sea to sand we stretch like open hands a race of rusted shares on fallow promised land the light the loom promised to us by whom gift horses refused in self-fulfilling doom our shadows locked forever over flora our shade starves reflections in the dirt all that we were and are couldn't let bygones be couldn't let the beast sleep now let our statues sing howling wind through human reeds

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
The Portland death metal band honors the decades-old relationship between underground metal and independent horror. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 18, 2023
I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic
